Water Baptism
Water Baptism is a public declaration of the private decision to follow Jesus. It is like wearing a wedding ring. Wearing it doesn’t make you married, but it lets others know about the decision you’ve made. In Ephesians 2: 8-9, Paul tells us that we’re not saved by good works, including baptism, but we’re saved by the grace of God through faith in what Jesus did for us.
