In Matthew 6, Jesus warns us about performative religion — praying to be seen instead of praying to be known. When our faith becomes about applause, we lose the real reward: intimacy with our Father. Prayer is not a presentation; it’s a relationship. God isn’t looking for impressive words — He’s inviting us into authentic connection where His kingdom comes and His will is done in us.
